How I can help

Trauma & PTSD

Trauma can continue to affect us long after an experience has ended.

You may experience anxiety, hypervigilance, intrusive memories, emotional numbness, difficulty trusting others, feeling unsafe, or a sense that your body is constantly on alert.

I provide trauma-informed therapy to help you understand and work through the effects of trauma at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Domestic & Family Violence

The effects of domestic and family violence don't necessarily end when a relationship ends.

You may be recovering from coercive control, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, threats or violence, while also navigating grief, self-doubt, anxiety, parenting or rebuilding your sense of self.

Therapy can provide a space to process what you've experienced, understand its impact and reconnect with your own needs, values and sense of agency.

Anxiety & Depression

Sometimes anxiety and depression can make everyday life feel exhausting.

You may be struggling with persistent worry, low mood, self-criticism, hopelessness, overwhelm, difficulty making decisions or feeling disconnected from yourself and others.

Therapy can help you understand the patterns underlying these experiences and develop strategies for moving forward.

Grief & Loss

Grief isn't limited to the death of someone we love.

We can grieve relationships, identity, safety, family, health, opportunities and the life we thought we would have.

Therapy provides space to acknowledge your loss, make sense of what has changed and find ways of carrying your experience forward.

Women's Mental Health

Women can carry enormous expectations — to care for others, maintain relationships, manage families, work and continue functioning regardless of what is happening underneath.

I support women navigating issues including self-worth, boundaries, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm and major life transitions.

What is EMDR therapy?

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that has been used internationally for over 25 years to support recovery from trauma and distressing life experiences.

EMDR is based on the understanding that when overwhelming events are not fully processed, they can become “stored” in a way that continues to impact how we feel, think, and respond in the present.

Through EMDR, these memories can be gently reprocessed so they feel less intense and no longer carry the same emotional charge.

This can reduce triggers, ease symptoms, and support a greater sense of stability and wellbeing. EMDR can also help shift long-held beliefs about ourselves, reduce urges linked to coping patterns such as addiction, and support the development of more adaptive ways of responding.

For those who experience a sense of different “parts” of themselves — often shaped by early attachment or trauma — EMDR can also support a gradual integration of these experiences, fostering a greater sense of wholeness and internal coherence.
